1- Senior Marketing Manager- CoreTek seeks an experienced PhD with established track record in development and packaging of semiconductor optoelectronic devices. The successful candidate will (a) provide leadership to our existing fiberoptic communication business and (b) develop new business in this area. A solid technical background both at the device and system levels will be needed. Excellent writing, verbal and managerial skills are required for this position.

2- Senior Optoelectronic Engineer- A highly innovative PhD with strong semiconductor optoelectronic device background. Duties include working with and eventually leading a team of engineers to fabricate, test and analyze new tunable diode lasers and filters. Familiarity with all aspects of III-V design, microfabrication and thin film processing as well as fiber optic testing will be needed. In addition the candidate is expected to have extensive experience in writing reports proposals and good communication skills.

3- Optoelectronic Process Engineer / Technician- Highly skilled, well-organized optoelectronic process engineer with experience in III-V and silicon device processing. Other duties include, maintaining and modifying vacuum systems as needed for various projects.

4- Optoelectronic Packaging- Experienced optoelectronic packaging engineer skilled in developing packaging strategy and tooling for novel optoelectronic devices. 5-Senior Optical Processing Engineer

CoreTek, Inc. seeks a senior optoelectronic engineer specializing in optical information processing systems and devices including multiple-quantum-well (MQW) photorefractive devices. The qualified candidate initially assists and eventually leads the design, fabrication and testing of MQW devices and optical image processing systems such as optical correlators and other optical processing systems with the goal of building turn-key systems. OPTICAL TEST TECHNICIAN

POSITION OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking an individual for this position within the development team to test endoscopes and other optical instruments, primarily for the medical marketplace. The successful candidate will also oversee and maintain the optics lab for the corporation. This position will require optical testing and evaluation for components/subsystems as well as finished products.

Key areas of responsibility are:

Performing testing and analysis of instrument parameters such as field of view, distortion, resolution, modulation transfer function, numerical aperture and transmission. Set up precision electronic and optical instruments to test laser devices. Analyze test data and report results to engineering/manufacturing personnel. Offer recommendations on improving performance of units tested. Prepare and write technical reports to recommend solutions to technical problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Minimum of three years in testing and evaluating optical instruments or components. Familiarity with lens benches, nodal slides, light sources and detectors for testing of optical components and instruments. Minimum of Associates degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience; Optical Science/Technology preferred. Ability to read and interpret component and assembly drawings. Machining skills helpful to design, sketch and/or create fixtures for optical testing.
